Scrumptious Saturday {4}

::Broccoli-Mushroom Penne Pasta::
::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::
-1 & 1/2 lbs. penne pasta (or other pasta- I used rice pasta)
-1/2 cup butter
-2 garlic cloves
-8 oz. can mushrooms
-1 small onion
-1 & 1/2 cups cooked & cubed chicken
-4 cups frozen broccoli
-1 tsp. basil
-1 tsp. oregano

1. Cook pasta to desired doneness
2. Melt butter in saucepan and saute' the garlic, mushrooms, & onion for about 5 minutes or until tender. Add chicken and continue cooking until all is hot.
3. Cook broccoli until heated through.
4. Toss sauteed mixture, pasta, broccoli, & herbs together and serve immediately.
(Note: Serves 6. This recipe worked out great for me this week as I was cooking for only five in our family =))
