My Brother Is Getting Married!!

My dear friends! My baby brother is GETTING MARRIED! I'm OVER THE MOON excited!

If it was possible for my heart to positively EXPLODE with happiness...than I would be in a million little pieces all over the universe. =) This is joy ABUNDANT! God has answered thousands of prayers + worked in such MIGHTY WAYS! I am overwhelmed at His goodness + faithfulness.

And. I'm gaining the sweetest, dearest sister you could imagine. She is perfect for him. They are perfect together. It just couldn't, doesn't, can't get any happier!

Anyways! I could go on and on but you can read a bit more over on the family blog!!

  12. So happy for him and the entire family. Is she going to be involved in singing with family?

    1. Carolina does have a beautiful voice, but no, they won't be singing with the family. Carson actually quit touring with us a year ago.

  13. Is there anyone left on the tour? Carson, Mitch, and sometimes I thought Allison are all not with group.

    1. Mitchell + Carson have both quit now, but that still leaves ten of us! (temporarily =))

    2. I am protesting and for one good reason. Last I talked to Mitch he told me that he was going to work on Sibling Cooperation to use his feet with something like a snare drum. I never got the honor to see that and have been very anxiously waiting for that. So Mitch is going to have to come to celebration or something and do this.

    3. Hmm...yes, I think that probably won't happen with Mitchell now. Maybe one of the rest of us can try it! Mitchell has some other top priorities these days. =)

    4. That would be totally hilarious! (Hope you don't mind me commenting on your conversation!) Would you consider playing drums?

    5. Absolutely! Drums have been on my bucket list to learn ever since I was little! We probably won't have them in our band but I definitely plan to learn them myself someday. =)

    6. Temporarily? Are more of you leaving soon?

  14. Oh, Chelsy, I have a problem, can you help me? Okay, so I believe God has been telling me for quite some time that someday I will date/marry this boy. The glitch is that I am very young, too young for marriage and the boy doesn't know, I don't believe. I have set guidelines and everything about how to go about relationships, but I never thought that God would tell me who He wants me to court at my age!
I have also decided not to tell anyone about it yet since I firmly believe the boy should be the first to act, not me. That was how it was in the Bible and how I believe it should be now. You know, like the boy asks the father and the father allows it all to happen.
You see, it is all complicated and I am so young. But not young enough to do God's will. Can you please give me good, godly advice? Much appreciated!

    1. My advice, simply put, would be to shelve the whole idea until you are old enough to marry. There are rare exceptions, but as a rule I find that the best idea is to NOT pray for/about a specific guy, until/if they have actually asked.
I would advise you to forget about him. (as much as possible) Have a prayer target that you pray for every time you thinking/daydreaming about him. (for example, have a missionary family or friend that you intercede for instead of praying for him)
It is really hard to properly answer your question just through a comment! I sure wish we could meet up in person for coffee! =) Feel free to drop me a line via email daughterofvision@gmail.com if you want to discuss further!

    2. Thanks and I understand what you are saying, you sound like a good Christian big sista. I do not have my own email, but will keep your advice in mind + put it into practice. Again, thank you so much for you advice!
